I went to see The Hobbit, again, yesterday.
This time in 3D and it was glorious!
Since I didn’t go to the premiere and I wasn’t dressed up the first time I saw it, I decided to do it this time and wore this outfit inspired by the costumes of the female hobbits.
Fun fact:
Everything I’m wearing is part of my everyday wardrobe!
Also, I’m still in awe of especially Martin and Ian’s performances, but the others too!
Perfect cast!
Inspired by the wallpaper in 221b Baker Street in BBC’s Sherlock, smiley-face and all.
I made the black pattern with a liquid eyeliner and it was bloody difficult!
But practice makes perfect, right?

I used colour nr. 24 from Tiger as base, a liquid eyeliner for the pattern. Depend nr. 35 for the smiley and e.l.f.’s Matte Finisher as topcoat!
Monday we went to two special places.
First we went to a hospital.
I think I have to explain this.
We went to St. Bartholomew’s Hospital and this is also a location for Sherlock and a very important place in the last episode, The Reichenbach Fall, since ‘the fall’/jump happens from the roof of St. Bart’s.
When we where almost there, we started noticing these stickers etc:

It’s lovely that people are still putting them up!
Then we arrived:
First thing I did after looking up at the roof, was trying to find the spot where he landed, so as to see how the hell he could’ve survived. Found it:
Then we went around to stand where John stood and look at things from his perspective:

As I already knew, the spot where Sherlock landed was impossible to see from here. There are so many theories out there and I’m excited to see if any of them are right!
After this we went to Tower of London!

We walked around for several hours.
First we saw this:
And then we saw this:

Bloody birds had clipped wings, but they still jumped over the fence and onto a bench!
Okay, if you know anything about this, I really think you should contact them!
We also went into a room where three actors played the parts of a princess, her husband and a maid. They talked to people passing and told their story and then suddenly the princess’ husband freaked out about my hair-do:
“OH LOOK AT IT! It looks like my wife’s! Doesn’t it darling?”
“Yes, yes it does love!”
“OOH! Give her a round of applause!”
And then suddenly 50 strangers, a princess and her husband were applauding my hair..!
You might understand this better if I show you outfit pictures from the day:

My hair was in two braided buns.
We then left Tower and we had a wonderful plan!
We had read about a Doctor Who shop in East London and we catched a bus going in that direction. We had to change bus several times and when we finally arrived, 1½-2 hours later, we found out that it had closed…. 18 months ago!
We did find a Primark where I bought the awesome shoes I posted some days ago, but then we headed back because we had dinner plans with the family where Franciska was an au-pair last year. They were lovely!
Then we went to the hostel to pack our things before going to bed.
One day left!
