GERONIMO!
Today was another day off and I knew that there was an event at Forbidden Planet so I went to town.
The event was the pre-release and demonstration of a new Doctor Who Sonic Screwdriver Remote Control.
It’s was quite expensive, so I didn’t buy it, but there was a dress-up contest so even though I didn’t have the things for a “real” costume, I managed to pull together an outfit inspired by the 11th doctor.
Picture for non-Whovians:
The hair was quite a challenge since 11’s hair is way shorter than mine, brown and kind of swept to the side, but I managed to do the sweep-thing.
I bought the tiny sonic screwdriver today along with some other stuff.
Forbidden Planet had a Who-sale because of the event, so I brought home more than planned!
Oh yeah, and more books of course!
But since they were £6 and £2, how could I resist?!
The event was quite fun and I talked to other Whovians and got a goodie bag with a poster, and tiny LEGO River Song and a button and they handed out Jammy Dodgers and Jelly Babies!
Now I’m sitting in my room, watching one of the Doctor Who DVD’s I rented from the library today and eating Double Stuffed Oreo’s <—- That stuff is brilliant!
Oh and I just reached 100 followers! Thank you, all of you! For reading, for commenting, for being there - thank you!
Birthday-weekend part 2
Today, on my actual birthday, my family awoke me with song and gifts!
Later we had guests for brunch and I’ve had two lovely days!
I also got some wonderful gifts!
Including 3 copies of Adele’s ‘21’(!), the newest ‘ASOIAF’ book, a ring that was once my great grandmother’s and then my parents gave me a web domain! Now I need to figure out what I want to use it for!
The last picture is my outfit from today.
I’m alive!
… I think…
Last night we had our prom/gala party at my school and I went with my friend Solveig, the lovely lady on the right:

We were both in suits/suit-ish outfits and we had a blast!
The amazing earrings were made by my friend Franciska, who sent them to me yesterday and they were perfect for the occation!
After dancing Les Lanciers ( a weird but fun old dance) for our parents, we had a ‘normal’ party.
This is how I looked around midnight:

The last picture… Scary, right?
