Just Another Girl
Last week The Killers’ new video for Just Another Girl premiered, and in this we saw Dianna Agron playing Brandon Flowers.
It’s a brilliant video, and I got so inspired that I wore this outfit the next day, inspired by Dianna as Brandon.
Here are a few pics from the actual video:
There once was a king called Macbeth
Who suffered an untimely death
He encountered Macduff
Wouldn’t cry ‘Hold, enough!’
But those words became his last breath
There was a Limerick contest at the English department’s Christmas party, and one of mine was one of the four that were read at the party.
Act V of Macbeth in five lines.
It’s Autumn and that means baking!
Okay, I bake all year, but now it’s time for even more baking then!
With lots of apples and pies and my new favourite thing; pumpkin!
I originally bought a Hokaido pumpkin to use for a homemade Pumpkin Spice Latte, but one can only use so much pumpkin puree for coffee, right?
So I decided to try Pumpkin Pasties again.
I made some last year, but found the pumpkin-taste a bit too overwhelming, so I altered the filling a bit.
They are so light because I made them with a friend who’s allergic to Gluten, so we used special flour.
Except for that, it’s a normal dough for pasties.
The filling was made by roasting the pumpkin in the oven for two hours and then blending it.
We then cut up a few apples and cooked them with water, cinnamon, ground ginger and sugar.
Then we mixed both and TA-DA, Pumpkin Pasties a la Harry Potter!
Homemade burger and cheesy fries.
From a couple of weeks ago when I was craving a burger and decided that it was more fun and healthier to make it myself than to go to McD.
Chewy Chunky Chocolate Chip Cookies
I’ve been a bit busier than I thought, starting Uni and all, but it’s really great!
I’m loving it all so far.
More posts coming up soon. I’ve been taking pictures, even though I haven’t been posting.
So, get ready!
This morning I kept burning my fingers on my recyclable plastic cup with coffee, so I crocheted a thing!
I might be wrong, but I think this pepper is upset that I cut it?!
My computer has been resurrected!
So the first thing I bring you is what happens when you wait at the BBC for 3 hours before a recording of John Finnemore’s Souvenir Programme (so worth the wait).
I give to you, The USS Enterprise made from a coffee lid and a stirring thing!
Homemade soy blueberry sorbet:
The portion in the bowl only has 50 calories!
You only need three ingredients:
3.5 dl soy milk
3.5 dl frozen blueberries
0.5 tsp ground cinnamon
Blend it all and freeze for a few hours.
This gives six portions like the one in the bowl.
