This week summer suddenly started!
It has been 25*C and the sun has been shining.
I love coffee, but it feels weird to drink it when it’s so hot, so I decided to try and make my own iced coffee/Frappuccino/Ice Blend, and it actually ended up delicious!
I started by making espresso ice cubes. Then I made strong coffee (with sugar!) and put it in the fridge to cool off. After a couple og hours I put three espresso cubes in a glass and then I mixed the cold coffee with milk 1:1. This mix of coffee and milk, I put in a manual milk-foam-maker-thingy and when it was foamy enough, I poured it over the espresso cubes, put whipped cream on the top and added a mini Oreo and a piece of Kit Kat. Try it, it’s delicious!

Outfit of the day and an awesome blazer I found in a thrift store for 25 kr(£2.5)!
I removed the shoulder pads after this picture was taken.
It’s also the first time I’m wearing this corset/corsage and it’s also from a thrift store.
Notice the white things(they’re paler irl, I promise you!) sticking out of my shorts? That’s my legs. It’s finally warm enough to wear shorts!
I’m one of those people who has to choose between being pale or being red in the summer, so pale it is!
I have my first exam tomorrow - Wish me luck!
I can’t believe that I’m graduating in a month!

Yesterday I went to a watchmaker and asked if he had any gears I could buy cheap for diy steampunk jewellery.
I bought this little selection:

I had a ring base and a bird from myvintagecharms.com, so I started out by making the ring above and below.

It’s a little fragile, but I already love it and I’m looking forward to making more fun diy things with the rest of the gears.

Some days ago I received something wonderful!
Me and a friend had heard about Konad, and decided to order some of it, but it’s quite expensive.
I searched and searched, and in the end I found a German company, who might have charged more for shipping, but the products were about 50 % off compared to the other places we had looked.
It almost seemed too good to be true, but we ordered and less than 48 hours later we had our stuff!
As seen above, Konad is basically a metal plate with little images carved into them.
You cover them with polish, use the scraper to scrape off the polish extra polish, use the stamp to ‘pick up’ the image and then you stamp it onto your nail!
The images are very detailed and it’s quite easy to use once you’ve tried it a couple of times!
I’m going to have a lot of fun with it!
The website we ordered from was nded.dk

I bought rollerblades!
I found them the other day in a thriftstore and they were only 30 kr. (£3)!
I had some when I was younger, but haven’t had any for years.
A friend of mine talked about how he used his now that the weather was good, and I got inspired and began to look when I was in thriftstores and then I found some!

Steampunk inspired
I was feeling a little better today, so when my mum said that she was driving to town, I decided to join her!
The last couple of days I’ve been looking a lot at the strange phenomenon Steampunk and it is really fascinating!
It is a genre in literature where Victorian Age and Sci-fi is mixed into something really awesome that I can’t really explain since I don’t know that much about it yet, but I’ve ordered some books from the library which I’m really looking forward to receiving.
Okay, back to point!
It’s also a way of dressing and since I’ve been looking at the pictures, and I was going to town, I decided to try and create a Steampunk inspired look and ended up as seen above and below.

The skirt is usually longer, but I created the new look with safety pins.

I picked up a couple of things for new projects, but you’ll see soon enough!

Last day of schoooooool!
Kinda…
Last real day before our final exams anyway!
My first exam is Friday next week, so I have some time to prepare.
I still have a lovely spring cold, but I needed to go to school these last two days, and I’m really glad that I did!
It’s really weird that we’re almost done, but it’s wonderful too! There’s so many things ahead!

As some of you may remember, I saw “En Kongelig Affære/A Royal Affair” some weeks ago, and some of the ladies in the movie wore these amazing collars(of which there of course are no pictures of online) made of different materials such as velvet and lace.
They were so fantastic that I had to try and make some myself, so yesterday I bought a bunch of ribbons and lace and buttons, and started sewing.
I finished the two above, and added a button to the first and an old brooch to the second.
I’m really happy about how they turned out, and I wore the black one today.
